I usually pick up a bottle of 300mcg melatonin and that’s the perfect amount to get me to sleep without feeling groggy the next day. Well all I have is 5mg and about 10 minutes after taking a pill I felt a sedative wave come over me. Suddenly I felt all heavy and my breathing slowed. Even the anxiety I feel from a typical weed high came in. Music sounds pretty good. It’s all there.
Well, not quite. I don’t feel as bad as I do on benadryl, but I still feel very disoriented and a strong feeling that I might die. So more like a bad smoke sesh. Melatonin is good for you but I do not recommend taking the extremely high dose pills they have everywhere. Start small or break up the pill. If you’re looking for a legal alternative to weed there are better options, but this will give you some of the craziest dreams you’ve ever had.
